What Dicky handles

Account email and login information, subscription status, word usage totals, optional profile and referral information, and diagnostic events are used to provide the app. Ordinary dictation audio is sent for recognition and is not stored by Dicky. Admin views show account metadata and counts, not dictated text or audio.

Recognition and companion

Soniox processes speech sent for dictation. If you explicitly start Talk to Dicky, audio is sent to Gemini Live for the voice session. The app’s Talk mode describes the Free Tier privacy terms before opt in. Dicky does not store the Talk audio or transcript.

Payments and sign in

Supabase provides authentication and account storage. Google sign in is optional. Stripe handles payment details; Dicky stores subscription identifiers and status, not card numbers.

Your choices

You can choose whether to use Google sign in, public social features and Talk. Requests about your data and account deletion will have a published contact channel before launch.
